Size Matters: Joe’s Official Transfer Guide

Get the size right before you press

Size matters more than you think.

This is Joe’s DTF. We don’t do generic. If you’re going to press it, press it right.

We laid out the sizing blueprints for your transfers so you don’t end up with a design that looks like a postage stamp on a billboard or a billboard on a baby.

📏 Before you size anything

Check the specs below, grab your tape measure, and match the transfer size to the actual blank you’re pressing. These guides are the best starting point, but your specific garment or accessory should always be measured first.

Adult sizing

Standard adult transfer placements

Use this section for full fronts, backs, left chest, sleeves, and nape placements on adult garments.

Accessories sizing

Hats, can coolers, and towels

These placements are sized for common accessory formats, but small differences in brand, shape, and panel space still matter.

Youth sizing

Infant, toddler, and youth placements

Smaller garments need more restraint. Use these sizes to keep the design balanced and age-appropriate on the blank.

⚠️ Joe’s Pro Tip

Don’t be lazy. Every brand cuts their blanks differently. Measure your specific blank before you press to make sure the fit looks as killer as the design.

✅ Quick sizing gut check

✅ Measured the actual blank   ✅ Checked the right category   ✅ Picked a balanced size   ✅ Left enough breathing room around the design
